Devendra Singh Shekhawat of Kekri (Rajasthan) has left his home on foot to attend the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla being held on January 22 in Ayodhya. He describes himself as a member of the 311th generation of Kush.

When he reached Bah on Sunday, he was welcomed. While talking to Amar Ujala, Devendra Singh told that in 1990, his father Durga Singh Shekhawat had gone to Ayodhya on a bicycle to see Ramlala. He left home 17 days ago on the 945 km journey from Kekri to Ayodhya and will reach Ayodhya on January 20. He walks 40-45 km daily. Those who welcomed were Anil Tomar, Rishabh Tomar, Ankit Sharma, Deepu Yadav, Alok Yadav etc.

Brahmlal Maharaj received invitation

Brahmalal Maharaj of Bateshwar has received the invitation for the consecration of Ramlala in Ayodhya. Ajay Bhadauria, manager of Bateshwar temple, said that Lord Mahesh Yogi Maharaj of Hanuman Garhi Ayodhya Dham had presented the intact Kalash and invitation letter. He had taken the soil of Bateshwar Dham with himself. On Sunday, amidst the chanting of mantras, temple manager Ajay Bhadauria, priest Rakesh Vajpayee, Ashok Goswami, Sonam Goswami dedicated the invitation letter and yellow rice to Brahmalal Ji Maharaj.
